Mussels with Caramelised Onions


    1. Clean the mussels by de bearding and knocking any barnacles off.
    2. Place mussels in a pan with a lid on over a medium heat with the beer and steam cook until the mussels open.
    3. Gently lift out the mussels and cover to keep warm. Turn heat up, reduce the beer by half and add finely chopped chilli & turn heat down.
    4. Add mussels back in, stir to make sure mussels are covered with sauce and add in finely chopped coriander.

For this recipe you will need:

  • 500g Fresh Mussels
  • 1 Bottle Windswept Wolf Beer
  • 1 Red Chilli
  • 1 Jar Caramelised Onions
  • 1 Bunch Coriander
