New Wave Surf School is mobile.

Which means that we can travel to different beaches on the Moray Coast. The most common beaches we teach at are Lossiemouth East beach and Sandend, although we also teach from Hopeman West Beach on occasion.

New Wave was set up in 2007 by Donald Peace.

Donald is trained as a Surfing Instructor with the International Surfing Association (ISA), which is the Number 1 Official Governing body for British Surfing Instructors. He is also a trained Beach Lifeguard. All of his training was done with Surfing and Lifeguard professionals in Cornwall, England.

Donald has completed many courses to ensure your safety and expert tuition. He follows a strict CPD programme. You can feel at ease knowing that Donald is PVG checked, has completed a Child Protection course, Emergency First Aid for the Outdoors course, Youth Work training and a Lifesaving course to name just a few.

Adventure Scotland Ltd has listed New Wave Surf School as an Approved Outdoor Adventure Activity provider for The Moray Council, Aberdeenshire Council, and the Highland Council.

Our boards are BSA approved and are specially designed with beginners in mind, which makes it really easy to catch your first wave and stand up too! They feature soft tops and edges and soft fins for your safety.

We use super warm 5/4mm winter wetsuits all year round to ensure you stay warm while in the water. We also supply wet suit boots, gloves and hoods when needed.

We offer surf lessons for individuals or groups, ages 8 years and up.

We supply Surf Vouchers for Birthday, Christmas Presents and other Special Days.

Discounts are available for birthday parties, families and multiple bookings!

New Wave Surf School is very happy to be a Scottish Surfing Federation accredited Surf School! If you are a member of the SSF, you qualify for 10% off!

We are also able to provide for:
